Surprisingly Romelu Lukaku has been named on the bench, for Everton, today having arrived on a season long loan from Chelsea on deadline day. He had to sit out the win against his parent club last Saturday and will surely be itching to prove Mourinho was wrong to let him go.

Last time out: Everton came from behind to beat West Ham 2-1 at Upton Park, as both sides ended with 10 men. Carlton Cole gave West Ham an early lead but was then shown a hotly-contested red card for a high challenge on Leighton Baines after the interval. Victor Anichebe had already headed Everton level after 64 minutes and they cashed in on West Ham's numerical disadvantage when Steven Pienaar scrambled in what proved to be the winner shortly after Cole was sent off.
