And that is that. Man City get the win but the score is inconvincing despite the quality of their performance. West Brom are flattered by their two goals having been outplayed for most of the 90 minutes.

ANICHEBE GOAL! Vydra put the ball into the Nigerian on the edge of the box. Hespins Demichelis and on to his right foot before finishing low into the bottom corner.

Berahino with some unbelievable control over his shoulder but Zabaleta gets across to the touchline to tackle him.

they got the ball back through McCauley. He plays Reid who then goes long for Anichebe but as has happened a hundred times tonight, Demichelis mops up easily.

First minute of four minutes added time sees West Brom not even get close to the ball.

City just controlling possession to the final whistle.

Yaya Toure comes off to a standing ovation for Jack Rodwell.

Olsson goes in hard on Dzeko from behnd on the half way line. He picks up a yellow for his trouble. Needless really.

Anichebe working hard but having much the same problems as Long before him. Demichelis and Kompany are playing really well.

OWN GOAL PANTILIMON! Berahin with a lovely one-two with Vydra on the left. He cuts the ball back to the far post but Javi Garcia's touch comes off Pantilimon and deflects into the goal.

Berahino with a good effort defelected. Vydra and Anichebe busy on the edge of the area eventually get the ball out to Berahino. HE shoots and the ball deflects up and looks as if it going to loop into the goal but it goes out for a corner.

Yacob losing his cool and tries to start a figh with Toure. The Ivorian laughs and walks away even though he did leave a foot in on Yacob.

Navas and Dzeko combine on the right. His cross is just too long for Toure in the box but City have the ball again. Berahino eventually nicks it away but is crowded out by the impeious Toure.

City break through Navas but again the play is slowed down whenthey realise the game is won. Zabaleta now with it on the right.

City possession high up in West Brom's half. Kolarov finds Milner in the box but his shot is straight at Myhill who gathers easily.

Nasri now makes way for Javi Garcia.

Substitution for West Brom as Amalfitano makes way for Matej Vydra. Too little too late I'm afraid.

West Brom go long from Brunt but even the pace of Anichebe wouldn't get on the end of that.

Yaya Toure steps up to take and sends Myhill the wrong way. And that is the game.
