THAT'S IT! Mark Hughes first home game as boss ends with his team taking all three points. Harsh on Palace - but Stoke probably just deserved it on their second half performance.

CHANCE - Gayle gets on the end of a long crossfield pass from Dikgacoi, but his attempt at a Marco Van Basten-style volley goes wide.
