DOUBLE SAVE FROM LLORIS! Palace with their best chance of the match as it falls nicely to Dikagcoi after a nod down from Phillips. He fires towards goal but Lloris saves with his legs. Dikagcoi chases down the ball and gets a second shot off but again the Frenchman saves.

Superb run from Defoe as he outpaces the Palace defence but his shot on the edge of the area is scuffed and goes harmlessly wide – that was a great chance.

Lloris fails to gather a corner but makes up for it by then saving a shot from Delaney at a tough angle.

Tottenham bring on Defoe for Soldado – decent debut from Soldado, always looked busy.

Half a chance for Phillips as the play opens up for him just outside the box – but he doesn't hit his shot clean and it goes harmlessly wide.

Chadli chips just over the bar with his left foot – might have been a mishit cross but we will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Lloris might just be the most *tuned in* keeper in the Premier League – he is out quick again to gather and end a Tottenham attack.

Chadli drags a shot wide of the target. He is always looking to find shooting opportunities is the young Belgian - could be a good fantasy football player this season.

Phillips puts the pacey Gayle away but Rose does superb to step in and clear and he is then fouled by Gayle. Good work from the Tottenham left-back.

More good forward play from Soldado He links up with Lennon down the right and his cross is then blocked away for a corner.
