No real fireworks around this ground. All a bit sedate. Hull doing a very good job of frustrating the white shirts.

Smart attacking move by the home side sees Davies wallop a shot over from distance. Neat little lay-off by Michu, but the shot was always rising over the bar.

This is the first time Hull have scored the opening goal away from home since the 20 March 2010, a streak of 10 away matches, when they took the lead against Portsmouth – they went on to lose that match 3-2.

This time his cross is plucked from the air by Tremmel in the home goal. All too easy really in the end for Swansea.

All a bit scrappy, but that won't bother Hull who are sitting pretty on this 1-0 lead as Ahmed Elmohamady continues to show real menace down a flank.

Swansea again seeing possession break down in the final third as Huddlestone wins the ball ahead of Hernandez.

Hull sitting very deep. But very well organised. The visiting fans making plenty of noise in the visiting end.

Coming in the ninth minute, that was the fastest goal Hull have scored this season, their previous fastest goal came when Robert Brady scored in the 12th minute vs. West Ham.

Dwight Tiendalli taking the pass from Shelvey in his stride, but he ends up knocking the cross into the path of Davies, who again makes a timely clearance.

Ahmed Elmohamady has been penalised for a late one on Canas. Can have few complaints about that as he managed to take man rather than ball.

A touch of nervousness about the home side's play. Yet to really get going in an attacking sense.
