And here's Meulensteen on bringing his first team back after resting them against Sheffield United: "The Swansea game is more important [than the weekend's FA Cup match] because it is so tight in the Premier League. There is not one country in the world that would let someone play in a fourth round of the cup on a Sunday and then play an important league game on Tuesday."

Michael Laudrup is pumped for this one. Pumped. "The next four games are crucial, starting against Fulham. We are coming up against direct opponents in the table and throw in the games against Liverpool and Crystal Palace and it is a very important period. But we have to go into each game as if they are a final."

Neither side are in the best form coming into this one - Swansea haven't won in eight, while Fulham have lost 11 of the last 14. Rene Meulensteen's men have at least managed three wins in eight, but they remain just a point outside the bottom three.

Jonathan De Guzman returns for Swansea, as does Pablo Hernandez, with the Jordi Amat and Alejandro Pozuelo dropping to the bench.

So Fulham are unchanged from the team that lost to Arsenal last time out in the league, but 11 alterations from the side that drew with Sheffield United in the FA Cup at the weekend. Adel Taarabt isn't involved at all, amid talk that AC Milan want to sign him on loan. Which would be an....interesting move on their part.
