Aston Villa fail to keep a clean sheet in their fourth straight Premier League match, while Stoke score only their 29th PL home goal of 2013 (relegated Wigan had 25).
Stoke on the front foot now as Baker covers across. The mood has lightened here.
Another cynical challenge from Lowton but he escapes a card to the boos of the crowd.
GOAL Stoke! And it’s Charlie Adam who slots the ball past Guzan from Crouch’s flick-on.
Walters sent tumbling by Clark and he goes into the book for that later challenge.
Clark concedes a corner to Stoke. Adam takes but Guzan claims well.
Kozak is hobbling. Villa could be forced into a change. He seems to have run it off though.
Good run and cross from Walters and the wildest of shots from Pieters is out for a goal kick. Very optimistic.
Adam scored here in the 2-0 win over Sunderland but has been on the bench for the last two games.
We’re back underway here. Will we see a goal? If the stats are anything to go by, it seems unlikely. Charlie Adam is on for Arnautovic.
HALF TIME: Stoke City 0-0 Aston Villa.
We have just the one added minute here.
Walters looks to be limping. Kozak feeds Weimann and his shot is drilled into the chest of Shawcross. Good block.
Despite missing Benteke and Agbonlahor, Villa have looked fairly sharp although you wonder where the goal will come from.
Assaidi takes the corner but Villa clear the danger. Good ball in from Cameron and Shawcross heads wide.
Lovely run from Assaidi, Crouch’s first shot is blocked and then Baker blocks Arnautovic’s second effort. Great defending.
Crouch goes for the spectacular chest and volley, similar to his cracker against Man City but this one flies over the bar.
Shawcross rises but his header is a really poor one, well wide. Shot from Albrighton wide of Begovic’s post.
Walters does well to win a free kick on the edge of the box. Chance for Stoke.
Strong challenge by Clark on Arnautovic who isn’t happy. Decent challenge though.
Guzan forced to tip the ball over the bar from Cameron's cross-shot and from the resulting corner, Cameron heads wide.
