How good is Lukaku? He has now scored 15+ goals in two consecutive PL seasons, at the age of 20 – he is only the 3rd PL player to do so before the age of 21, and the first non-English player – Michael Owen did so in 1997/98 (18 goals) and 1998/99 (18 goals) and Robbie Fowler did so in 1994/95 (25 goals) and 1995/96 (27 goals before his 21st birthday on 9 April 1996).

STAT: It is the first time an Everton player has scored 15 goals in a season since Yakubu Aiyegbeni got 15 in 2007/08 (record for an Evertonian is 16, Andrei Kanchelskis (1995/96 ) and Tony Cottee (1993/94).

Hull were slow to come out after the break. Probably some harsh words from Steve Bruce for his team. It clearly didn’t work!

Strong run from Lukaku into the box from McCarthy’s cross. He gets a boot to it but McGregor in the right place to save.

Decent ball over the top from Huddlestone for Aluko and he’s nearly in but the ball skips across the surface and just gets away from him and Howard gathers.

The Hull supporters seem a little subdued. Perhaps they also have an eye on the FA Cup final.

Aluko feeds Quinn but his cross come shot is easily gathered by Howard.

McGeady tormenting Figueroa and wins his side a corner. Jelavic clears and McCarthy screws his shot wide.
