    Martin Jol is also under pressure after his team’s poor start to the season and that dreadful run of home results, but he has urged Fulham fans to keep calm. "The supporters should get behind the team,” he said. “They don't have to support me but support the club. They are entitled to their opinion but they need to keep their heads cool like the players and the manager. We are only six games into the season, not 30.”

    Hughes is not a favourite of Craven Cottage fans after he resigned from the Fulham hotseat less than a year into the job. "In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have left Fulham," he said. "I had a fantastic time there though and we had a great season there. We finished eighth and I view my team there as a success. I hope most Fulham fans think that too. There's no point to prove."
