Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to today's LIVE coverage of Crystal Palace v Aston Villa. Both teams have an equal number of games played; both have an equal number of points; and where Palace's goal difference is -16, Villa's is -13. It should be a tightly-fought contest, one would think - but then the visitors are without several senior players, including their leading scorer, Christian Benteke.

That's full-time. The first half was fairly dire, the second half was brighter, and that Jason Puncheon goal proved the difference between the two sides. There was a significant amount of goalmouth drama, and no doubt those penalty claims will be re-evaluated - but perhaps not as closely as they might have been had Palace not taken all three points. Thanks for your company this afternoon.
90'+3
A looping cross in from the right by substitute Albrighton, but Speroni gathers that.
90'+2
Guzan lofts it forward for one last attempt.
90'+1
Villa aren't letting this go quietly. Palace are hacking everything away as far as they possibly can. Albrighton and Clark combine for yet another desperate chance.

Great chance for Andreas Weimann, flicking nonchantly towards the goal, and great save by Julian Speroni, round the post to his left.

If Palace hold on for five more minutes, they'll complete their first-ever league double over Aston Villa.
85'
Puncheon's quick on the uptake, charging down the right, cutting in and failing to square to Murray in the middle and having a shot himself into the side netting.

Jason Puncheon has scored three goals in his last two Premier League appearances – he had scored just three in his previous 28.

Bolasie has picked up a knock from somewhere, and Parr replaces him in Palace's final substitution.

Double substitution for Villa - Weimann and Albrighton on for Bertrand and El Ahmadi. But we have about ten minutes left - are those changes too late?

What a GREAT ball from Westwood to Grant Holt, cutting through the defence and leaving him virtually one on one. He can't make contact.

There's singing and dancing behind Brad Guzan's goal as the Crystal Palace fans celebrate taking the lead.

GOAL! Finally, Jason Puncheon manages to get a shot on target. Bolasie beats his man down the left, Puncheon turns well and hits it low, and it bounces off the post and into the net.

Murray replaces Jerome, who has had Palace's best chance so far.

The referee plays the advantage as Ledley is brought down, but Puncheon's shot is awful, skying it over the bar.

Jerome does well to keep the ball in, and races down the left. He waits for support and it comes from Puncheon, but he can't get it past that packed-out Villa defence.
72'
Villa are defending in numbers, and their midfield has disappeared.
70'
What an odd game this has been; some fascinating incidents of penalty area confusion, and some absolutely dreadful football on display. Meanwhile, Lowton hoists a ball forward, into touch.

Palace call for handball against Ciaran Clark as Brad Guzan gathers a cross; Howard Webb looks across to his assistant referee and thinks he's indicating a penalty, and points to the spot. Then he goes over to confer, and changes his mind, giving a free-kick to Villa. All very confusing.
65'
El Ahmadi clips Ward as Villa attempt a counter-attack. Another free-kick to Palace.
