Manchester United HAVE beaten Newcastle, which means City are now seven points behind their rivals. Two huge results. Any chat on that, you know where to find it.

We don't have a result from Old Trafford yet - Vurnon Anita of Newcastle has picked up a serious-looking injury, a lengthy delay.

But it's headed clear and the whistle goes! City have lost to Sunderland, thanks to a poor error from Joe Hart letting their cast-off Adam Johnson score. And United are on the brink of winning against Newcastle...

Manchester United have scored what looks like a late winner against Newcastle - if this holds, Ciy slip seven points behind. Meanwhile, Hart is up for another corner!

Corner City as a Milner shot takes a big deflection off Garner. Hart comes up for it! The ball flies over his head, is half-cleared and drops to Milner but he shoots well over!

City are just piling everything forward, with Lescott playing as a target man. Mignolet punches clear from him.

CITY SUB: Odd one as Lescott replaces Garcia. City have not been great from wide so I'd have gone for Sinclair...

SUNDERLAND SUB: Rose has been excellent but they've gone for the better header of the ball by bringing on Bardsley.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2-0! Greedy McClean blasts high and wide after being sent in down the left by Fletcher - Sessegnon was clear! Should have squared it!

CITY SUB: Barry, who scored the winner against Reading last time out, replaces Toure.

Fletcher flicks it wide to Campbell, now inside to Sessegnon but he can't find McClean and City clear.

Aguero with a looping header from Toure's cross but easy for Mignolet.

Should have been 2-0 as Campbell, who had just come off the bench, fired straight at Hart after Sessegnon's cross was blocked into his path!

Last-gasp slide tackle by Kilgallon as Milner was sent through! The ref halts play as Aguero is down...

Great leap by Kilgallon to beat Dzeko to the header. Sunderland clear but City come again...

Aguero is almost played in by Silva but Rose reads it to clear. However his touch is poor and Silva has it back on the right wing, winning a free-kick off the England U21 left back.

GREAT SAVE HART! City's defence parted like the Red Sea and Sessegnon was in but, being closed down by Kompany and Nastastic, was only able to prod it on goal - a flying Hart kept it out!

Dzeko won't help with touches like that though - a terrible lay-off to Toure from Milner's ball.
