It shouldn't really have been a penalty and Mancini embarrassed himself when demanding a red card on the sidelines. He didn't get one.

Red card! Barry shown a second yellow. Just minutes after fouling Gerrard, Barry bodychecks Agger to prevent the defender from steaming forward. It was the correct decision as it was a messy challenge.

A change now for City as Aguero, scorer of the first goal, is replaced by Adam Johnson.

This has been a rather dismal second half, unfortunately. Liverpool's approach hasn't really helped in that regard.
