Four minutes of time added on.
Friedel gets booked for time wasting.
Cuellar booked for a tackle on Rodallega. Watson takes the free-kick in a good position, but from 30 yards, he hits it 20 yards over the bar.
Herd comes on for Young.
Brilliant move from Wigan as Rodallega plays in Watson after a step-over from N'Zogbia but Watson's effort goes just over the bar.
Goal-scorer McCarthy comes off in place of Colin McManaman - cousin of Steve.
Di Santo gets on the end of N'Zogbia's corner but it's from too narrow an angle and Friedel saves.
Rodallega takes a pass from Stam before shooting half a yard wide.
1-2. McCarthy pulls one back for Wigan. A shot from distance takes a huge deflection off James Collins and wrong-foots Brad Friedel.
Marc Albrighton comes on for Agbonlahor.
Wigan put pressure on the Villa defence, but Collins et al stand strong and repel any Wigan attacks.
N'Zogbia gets the ball on the right and is tripped by Young and a free-kick is awarded. The Frenchman delivers a great ball but Richard Dunne heads clear for a corner.

Figueroa's cross is cut out by Collins, who has defended well tonight, and it goes out for a corner.
Agbonlahor flicks the ball towards Young who races onto it before trying a little chip over Al Habsi who saves well.
Chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' from the home support, who you can just about hear.
Double substitution for Wigan: Thomas and Boyce are replaced by Watson and Stam.
Villa meanwhile, look even mroe threatening. Young is getting plenty of joy on the rght, and although not perfect, his delivery is better than Downing's.
Wigan looks disheartened now, heads down and dropping deep.
