Arteta slows it down and plays a nice ball for Yakubu but Dawson heads away. Long from Assou-Ekotto for Crouch but Osman hoofs away from Kranjcar. Crouch commits a foul and Everton have won it!
Neville on the right wing is clattered by Assou-Ekotto but no foul! He launches it but Distin heads clear.
Osman curls one in from range but straight at Gomes.
Spurs counter as VdV misses the ball and Crouch bombs in but he fouls Osman.
Fellaini with a superb ball to send Yakubu through, he's in and must score but he moves on to his right and the defenders are back and his finish is weak and poor, against Dawson and easy for Gomes.
Gallas intercepts as a rusty Osman fails to release the cross in time.

Yakubu almost gets in behind Gallas but, as the two tangle, Spurs get it away.
