AS Monaco have announced the signing of 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Paul Pogba.
The midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the Ligue 1 side following the end of his doping ban, which saw him miss almost two full seasons.
Pogba will be aiming to get his career back on track following a turbulent series of events, which saw the Frenchman provisionally suspended following a random test conducted after Juventus' 2023/24 season opener against Udinese.
He was subsequently issued with a four-year ban, which was cut down to 18 months last October following a successful appeal.
The 32-year-old has a trophy-laden CV at club level, which includes four Serie A titles, two Italian Cups, an English League Cup and the UEFA Europa League.
At international level, he became a world champion in Russia seven years ago, and was part of Didier Deschamps' squad who won the UEFA Nations League in 2021.
The 32-year-old has scored 11 goals in 91 caps for Les Bleus, with his latest appearance coming in a 5-0 friendly victory over South Africa in March 2022.
Pogba will be targeting a return to the France national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The midfielder progressed through the Manchester United academy before leaving for Juventus in August 2012.
Following four years in Turin, he returned to Old Trafford for a then world-record fee of ÂŁ89 million.
Despite winning a Europa League and League Cup double in his first season, Pogba's second Red Devils spell was largely underwhelming, and he returned to Juventus on a free transfer in July 2022.
His contract with The Bianconeri was terminated in November, and he will be hoping for a fresh start with the Principality outfit.
The Rouge et Blanc begin their Ligue 1 campaign against Le Havre at the Stade Louis II on the weekend of August 15-17.
