KICK OFF
Here we go. Lyon kick us off.
The referee is François Letexier.

FIVE MINUTES TO GO
The teams are emerging from the tunnel. We are just five minutes away from one of France’s most fiercely contested fixtures.
By the way you may notice that PSG fans are being awfully quiet so close to kick off. That’s because they’re not there.
The club are playing without their away supporters, who have been banned from making the journey due to the use of pyrotechnics in their win at Nantes on September 3.

PLAYER TO WATCH
PSG have a rather decent attacker in their ranks called Messi. While the diminutive Argentinian’s powers have waned slightly he is still an incredible player. The 35-year-old has managed four goals and eight assists across his last nine appearances for PSG.
In the week Messi also broke another couple of records. He scored in the Champions League against a record 39th opponent, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo's 38, Meanwhile he netted for a record 18th season running in Europe’s top competition.
Elsewhere, Neymar has now scored 11 goals in 10 games this season in all competitions and is making his 100th Ligue 1 appearance this evening.
And then there’s Mbappe… PSG aren’t too bad are they?

PSG’S SCARY STATISTICS
Most statistics point to a PSG victory. Their domestic dominance is frankly quite absurd...
  • PSG have scored at least three goals in their last eight Ligue 1 away matches.
  • PSG have won eight of their last nine Ligue 1 matches.
  • PSG have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven away matches.

CLAUSE IN MBAPPE’S CONTRACT
Off the pitch an alleged clause in Mbappe’s new bumper three-year contract, which could permit him to leave for free a year earlier than anticipated has been the talk of the town in France.
Here is an incite into the L’Equipe claim...

LYON’S WEAKNESSES AT THE BACK
The home side’s strengths and weaknesses make for a good game. Ekambi's consolation goal in the defeat to Monaco meant that Lyon had now scored in 16 straight Ligue 1 games. Meanwhile Lyon have scored at least two goals in their last nine Ligue 1 home matches.
However their defence is incredibly leaky. Bosz’s side have picked up just one clean sheet in their last 10 domestic encounters.
We should be in for a fun time...

GALTIER DEFENDS FORWARD LINE
Galtier was on the defensive in Saturday’s pre-match press conference, responding to criticism regarding his star studded front three’s perceived inability to press.
Galtier said: “They all three have experience of a very high level. They have this ability to make decisions during a game. But obviously, that requires an investment.
"Ney is the one with the best profile to have this defensive withdrawal. This desire too. Kylian is an important point of attachment.
"Leo, he has a different form. He is always very well placed to receive the ball. Ney is the one that gives the best balance.”

IS BOSZ UNDER PRESSURE?
Lyon are fifth in the league table and come into this contest on the back of two defeats to Lorient and Monaco in their last two outings, in which they conceded five goals.
The club stuck with manager Bosz despite finishing eighth last season, however a defeat against PSG will leave them nine points adrift of the leaders just eight games into the season.
In the week Lyon sporting director Vincent Ponsot told Le Progres: “We hear the criticism, and we can understand it, but our approach is to the medium and long term. Despite how things went last season, we analysed things and decided to keep Peter, and we were convinced of our decision.
“However, there are now demands on Peter to get results, because we have changed the squad and the mindset, lots of things have been done with his agreement. We think we have everything in place to do well.”

TEAMS IN FOCUS
The home side are without the services of Pollersbeck due to a knee injury.
Meanwhile 19-year-old Cherki is a notable absentee considering his recent form off the bench. He is yet to make a start this season despite having come up with his third assist in six matches for Toko Ekambi's goal at Monaco.
PSG have made two changes from their midweek Champions League win. Hakimi reclaims his starting spot while Fabian comes in ahead of Vitinha.
Their line-up also includes the heralded front three of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, yet Galtier was unable to select Kimpembe or Sanches due to their respective injuries.
