Ancelotti has Real Madrid playing with a lot of fluidity in the final third of the pitch at the moment, but there’s no doubt they can still be exposed in the defending areas.

Real Madrid have now scored at least twice in eight of their last nine home matches. Of course, some of those home matches were played at the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano in Valdebebas. They look so dangerous.

There is a growing sense that this season’s La Liga title race will be between the two big capital clubs, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, with Barcelona struggling for form.

Benzema comes off after scoring his second of the night and is replaced by Jovic.

Hazard has traditionally played his best football off the left wing, but the Belgian is playing well through the middle for Real Madrid. That’s where he can partner with Benzema.

Another positive for Real Madrid in the early part of the season has come in the form of Hazard. After so many injuries and fitness issues, the Belgian is finally contributing on the pitch! He's been rested tonight.

Vinicius Junior has scored five goals in his last five Real Madrid games, as many as in his previous 59 games before that. The Brazilian is in the form of his life at the moment!

Vazquez has also been introduced for Rodrygo for the final 20 minutes or so.
