GOAL FOR ATLETICO! Lemar scores the winner. So cruel on Espanyol. He played a one-two with Carrasco and then fires a right-footed effort that the keeper can only parry the ball off the post and into the net.

Another booking, this time for Carrasco for a foul on Nico.

Pedrosa is shown a yellow card for time wasting.

So close from Carrasco. On the opposite side of the box from his goal, he hits a similar effort from a narrow angle which just misses the far post.

Joao Felix appeals for a penalty off Bare when he turned him in the box and it hit his prone hand but the referee rightly doesn't give a spot kick.

A lovely diagonal ball from Darder aims for Dimata at the far post but Savis clears on the stretch at the far post.

Kondogbia gets a yellow card for felling Darder who put a bit of mayo on his fall to the ground.

GOAL FOR ATLETICO! Carrasco dribbled into a cul de sac in the box but then put in a great challenge on Ribauldo to win the ball back and drove it home from a narrow angle.

Pedrosa puts a dangerous cross into the far post but Oblak claims it well.

Another substitution for Espanyol with Vidal being replaced by Nico.

Awful error from Pedrosa with an unnecessary backpass from 20 yards out that goes for a corner. The corner was cleared but from the same passage of play Koke has the chance to drill a ball into the area which Cabrera again clears. Felipe is getting treatment for an awkward fall in the box.

Luiz Suarez leaves proceedings to boos from the Espanyol fans with Cunha coming on to replace him.

The Atletico subs are making an impact. This time Kondogbia draws players to him before playing the ball wide to Lodi but his cross is again dealt with by this tenacious defence.

A nice cross into the box from Lodi that Llorente attacks but Cabrera clears well.

Espanyol have made a double substitution too with Bare and Moron replacing Melendo and Morlanes.

Griezmann is brought off for Joao Felix. Not the best return for the French star.

A controversial call but probably the right one. Suarez's head just ahead of the last defender and after being so close to the ball the referee probably has to make that decision.
