FULL-TIME: Alaves 1-0 Atletico Madrid
Fantastic game and a big win for Alaves! Despite their good start to the season result-wise, Atleti have rarely convinced, so this could be a useful wake-up call for them, while Alaves might now be able to kickstart their season with this first win.
CONFUSION AT THE WHISTLE! Atleti have a last minute free kick and even Oblak is up for it. The cross comes in and the Atleti players are appealing for handball and a penalty with Suarez even pointing to the spot himself. The referee eventually blows his whistle for full-time instead of a penalty and is surrounded by a swarm of Atleti players appealing the decision.
SAVED!! De Paul sends a dangerous ball into the box and it's unclear whether it's a cross or shot as it forces Pacheco to scramble back towards his line to keep De Paul's effort out.
Calleja makes Alaves' final change now with a defensive switch that sees Saul Garcia come on in place of Rioja, who has really impressed me this afternoon.

Lodi's unable to pick out a teammate with his cross swung in from the left. It falls to his teammate Vrsaljko on the other side, but it's the same story.
BIG CHANCE!! Alaves waste another opportunity to seal the win! Rioja dribbles past multiple defenders, cuts inside and picks out the unmarked Pina, who fires his shot over the bar from close range with what I think is his first touch of the game since coming on a few minutes ago.
Duarte looks to have an injury concern, so resultingly comes off for former Atletico Madrid man Alberto Rodriguez.

CHANCE!! Alaves go close twice! A lofted pass finds Moya after Felipe completely misjudges its flight then Moya's cutback is cleared by Vrsaljko to an Alaves player who sends it straight back in for Joselu to volley over the bar.
Final change for Atletico. Llorente makes way for Sime Vrsaljko.

SAVED!! Amidst the sea of bodies in the box, De Paul threads it through to Correa and the Argentinian's shot from a tight angle is denied by the legs of Pacheco.
Another Atleti free kick from the right flank and Correa fails to even beat the first man with his delivery, as the cross is headed out for a corner.
De Paul plays a poor pass back to Savic and Joselu almost seizes on it, but he can't get the ball fully under control.
Alaves' second substitution sees Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri replace de la Fuente, suggesting that they'll likely revert to playing with a lone striker.

Alaves make a couple changes of their own. First up is Joselu in a straight swap with Sylla in attack.

Wait, it's a quadruple substitution! Big statement of intent there from Simeone, as Hector Herrera coming on for Hermoso completes Atleti's array of changes.

Matheus Cunha replaces Kondogbia. Definitely seems like it'll be another change of system for Atleti.

A flurry of substitutions now, starting with a triple sub by Simeone. Angel Correa is the first to come on, as he replaces Trippier.

WHAT A MISS!! Duarte takes a throw in from the left hand side and it trickles through to Loum, who barges his way into the box past Felipe and thunders a shot high above the goal from point blank range.
Kondogbia is the next player to pick up a card and he'll miss next Saturday's match at home to Barcelona as a result.
