Pedri has been one of the biggest success stories of Barcelona’s season. The teenager has quickly become a key figure for Koeman, although fatigue has been an issue for him recently.

It’s not just Messi who has been in exceptional form recently. Griezmann has found his scoring touch in front of goal with the Frenchman looking more and more like a Barca player. He was poor against Atleti, though.

Bit wild from Messi! Dembele did well to draw a couple players and then feed Messi the pass, but the Barcelona number 10 lacked composure and slices his shot well wide of goal.

Barcelona were by far the better team in the first half and Koeman will want that to continue into the second period. A third goal would effectively kill this match as a contest.

The second half is under way! Barcelona have a 2-0 lead over Levante in this La Liga fixture.

HALF TIME: Levante 0-2 Barcelona. Goals from Messi and Pedri are the difference at the half time interval, but in truth the gulf between the two teams has been greater than that.

Barca counter attack! Griezmann's fine pass with the outside of the boot finds Dembele down the right side, but Levante did well to stick with the speedy winger and the corner is conceded.

Barcelona are searching for a third goal that would effectively kill this contest before the break. Levante just need half time to regroup and come up with a different game plan.

One wonders if Lopez will make changes to his team at the half time interval. Levante need someone who can make something in between the lines of transition.

This has been a good first half showing by Barcelona. Levante haven't really offered much besides a good five-minute spell before the opening goal was scored by Messi.

Dembele has given Barcelona some much-needed forward thrust this evening. That's something the Catalans lacked in the underwhelming performance against Atletico Madrid.

That goal had been coming for Pedri. If there's one area where the teenager can afford to improve, it's in his finishing in front of goal. Once he gets that sorted out, beware!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Levante 0 Barcelona 2 (35 mins - Pedri). Barcelona have doubled their lead! Messi played Dembele down the right side, the Frenchman had the pace to beat his marker and then cut the ball back for Pedri to finish on the stretch into the back of the net! The Catalans now have a two-goal cushion!

Barcelona need to keep pushing for the second goal. They must learn from the home defeat to Granada a couple weeks ago when they allowed a 1-0 lead to slip, losing 2-1 in the end.
