FULL TIME: Alaves 1-4 Real Madrid
Real Madrid get a much-needed win to ease some of the pressure on the absent Zidane. This was actually one of Los Blancos' best performances of the season so far. They were in control from start to finish. Zidane will be pleased. And relieved.
There will be just two minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Benzema is shown a yellow card late on for a challenge on Edgar.

Looking ahead in the schedule, the Madrid derby on March 7th is already looking like a huge game for Real Madrid if they are to claw back some of the difference on Atletico Madrid in the table.
Despite everything that has happened in the last week or so, Real Madrid have the chance to build some momentum on the back of this match. After this they will take on Levante and Huesca.
Inches wide! So close to being a second Alaves goal! Perez created something out of nothing and very nearly squeezed the ball in at the back post! There were no takers in blue and white!
Much was expected of Odegaard for Real Madrid this season after he sparkled for Real Sociedad last term. He was so impressive that Zidane was compelled to recall him from the loan early!
Odegaard is expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming days. Indeed, the Norwegian midfielder is reportedly close to signing for Arsenal for the rest of the season.
Laguardia is shown a yellow card as Real Madrid see this win out.

There are questions to answer over where Alaba will fit into the Real Madrid starting lineup. Will he be a replacement for Ramos? Varane has been in poor form, so would he replace the Frenchman?
Alaba is believed to be close to signing for Real Madrid on a pre-contract arrangement, but the Austrian defender isn’t expected to arrive until the end of the season when he is out of contract.
The January transfer window is open, but there’s no real suggestion that Real Madrid will be in the market for new signings before the end of the month. They’re saving their pennies for the summer.
