After a nightmare week, that was hugely encouraging for Barcelona. Griezmann, Messi and Suarez all clicked, perhaps for the first time all season, and Villarreal just had no response! The Catalans are still second favourites in the title race, but this at least keeps them in the picture!
FULL TIME: Villarreal 1-4 Barcelona
This is a big win for Setien. His position looked to have become untenable, but this performance from Barcelona provides a template for the Catalans to follow. So much better.
Asenjo denies Braithwaite! The Danish striker must have thought he'd scored, heading towards goal from close range after Messi's freekick, but the Villarreal goalkeeper makes a flying save!
Off the crossbar! So close to a fifth Barcelona goal! Messi curled a freekick over the Villarreal wall, he beats Asenjo, but he couldn't beat the woodwork. His shot comes off the crossbar!
There willbe five minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Where has this Barcelona performance come from? Their season looked to be fizzling out, but this display will remind Real Madrid they still have some work to do to win the title.
What a talent Ansu is. He's the sort of player Barcelona must build their next great team around. Between him and Puig, the future can still be a bright one for the Catalans.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Villarreal 1 Barcelona 4 (86 mins - Ansu Fati). Lovely goal from Ansu and that's the points in the bag for Barcelona! The teenager had Messi in the middle waiting for the pass, but he takes on the shot himself and finds the near post with a reversed finish that caught Asenjo off guard.

Just to recap... a win here for Barcelona would see them close the gap on Real Madrid to four points after their win over Athletic Club earlier in the day. Their title hopes are just about alive.
Barcelona are attempting to manage the final 10 minutes or so of this match. With many of their key players off the pitch they would be in trouble if Villarreal scored a second goal here.
Pique's reaction to VAR ruling out Barca's fourth goal...
This has been an impressive performance for Barcelona. They were on fire in the first half and have shown some control as well since the break. Where has this sort of display been all season?
Araujo comes on for the final 10 minutes. He replaces Pique, who is given a rest.

Asenjo does just enough! That was a good chance for Barcelona to add a fourth, but Braithwaite's shot is smothered by the Villarreal goalkeeper. He then thwarts Ansu as well.
Chukwueze goes straight at goal! That was an opportunity for Villarreal to find a lifeline in this match, but Chukwueze shoots straight at Ter Stegen when he needed a bit more angle.
