What a fun game at the Aneota. Barcelona looked to be on top after a first half durin which Real Sociedad were the better team. In the end the two teams have to share the points. This puts Barca top of La Liga for now, but Real Madrid can go clear with a win over Valencia tomorrow evening.
FULL TIME: Real Sociedad 2-2 Barcelona
Penalty claim! Suarez sends a cross to the back post, Pique goes down and claims that he should be awarded a penalty kick, but the referee doesn't think so and that might be that for Barca.
Is there enough time for a winner for either of these two teams? Real Sociedad are the ones who look to be on top, but Barcelona can always harm you such is their individual quality.
There will be just three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Too many bodies! Semedo gets to the byline, his cross is blocked. The ball then fell back to Suarez, but the Barcelona striker is crowded off the ball before he can get a shot away.
Would this be a point gained or two points dropped for Barcelona in the context of their season as a whole? The Aneota is a difficult place to come and La Real are a good side.
These are crucial minutes in the Spanish title race. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid were tied at the top of La Liga coming into this game. This would give Real Madrid the chance to go clear tomorrow.

Five minutes left to play at the Anoeta and this match is still up for grabs. Barcelona seem to be quite happy to sit deep, but they aren't really offering much on the counter attack.
Of course, Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the first Clasico of the season next week. This result could have a big bearing on the dynamic of that match and on the Spanish title race.
Rakitic comes off and he will be replaced by Vidal. Can he make the difference for Barcelona?

That was an opportunity for Merino to slot through Jose through the middle, but there was just a little bit too much on the pass. Then Jose has a shot over the bar moments later.
This match could go either way at this stage. Real Sociedad looked to be dead and buried, but they have come roaring back and now Barcelona are struggling. What a finish.
.... and the second change from Barcelona sees Alena come on for Busquets. That's an interesting one.

Looks like Valverde is going to make a couple of changes here. The Barcelona boss is clearly worried that this match is starting to get away from his team. La Real are on top.
