Real Madrid close the gap on Barcelona at the top of La Liga to two points again after the Catalans' win over Real Mallorca last night. Zidane's side deserved their win, but they dropped off quite dramatically in the second half. Next up for them is Valencia on Thursday night.
FULL TIME: Real Madrid 3-1 Eibar
To their credit, Eibar are still going, but Real Madrid now have the points in the bag. This is a result that will see them stay on the tails of Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
Oliveira comes across to make the last ditch tackle on Vinicius to prevent the Brazilian winger from racing through on goal. It's been frustrating for him since coming off the bench.
There will be four minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Vinicius had an opportunity to stretch his legs in behind the opposition backline, but Burgos comes across to shrug the Brazilian winger off the ball. That was a good intervention.
Eibar also make their final change and this is a strange one. Burgos is a defender!

Mendy had the pace to beat Bigas down the right side, he found Bale with a pass inside the area, but the move breaks down for Real Madrid. Bale has barely been involved!
The referee comes over to show a yellow card to Mendlibar. Was he complaining about the decision to not send off Casemiro?
Of the two sides it's actually Eibar who look the freshest at the moment. Real Madrid have had some trouble with closing out games this season, even ones they have led 3-0!
Eibar throw on Inui as they attempt to salvage something from this match. They're not out of it yet.

Marcelo looks extremely weary. It's not quite clear if the Brazilian left back has picked up an injury, but something isn't right with him at the moment. Eibar having joy against him.
We're going to have a drinks break and Real Madrid need this break! They have allowed this game to get away from them and while they are still ahead they need to be a little careful.
PICTURE: Real Madrid scored three in the first half.
Casemiro gets lucky! The Brazilian midfielder trips Enrich and is fortunate not to be shown a second yellow card. Players have been booked for far less than that in La Liga!
