Of course, it's worth recapping that Barcelona have the second leg of their Champions League quarter final against Manchester United next week so Valverde is keeping players fresh.

One wonders when Valverde will take off Dembele and wrap him in cotton wool. The French winger is a first team figure, but is still gaining match sharpness following an injury.

PICTURE: Malcom has been quiet for Barcelona so far.

Barcelona dominated the majority of the ball in the first half, but they didn't do all that much with it. From the neutral's perspective, the opening 45 minutes weren't that entertaining.

No changes made by either manager at the half time interval. So does that mean it will be more of the same in this second half? Or will Barcelona attempt to step things up?

HALF TIME: Huesca 0-0 Barcelona. The Catalans scored eight goals in their last game against Huesca earlier in the season, but this much-changed side have found things tougher here.

Valverde won't be too concerned because, after all, his Barcelona team have an 11-point lead at the top of La Liga, but he will surely want more goal threat from his side in the second half.

Had to do better! Now it's Huesca who create an opportunity to go ahead! Gallego foun himself in space 10 yards out, but he dragged his shot wide of the far post when he should have tested Ter Stegen.

Across the face! Wague gets down the right side and fizzes a low cross into the six yard box, but Boateng couldn't stretch far enough to turn his effort towards goal. That was a chance for Barcelona!

The problem Barcelona are facing is that nobody other than Puig seems willing to take things on and make something happen. Too many of them are happy to just play the sideways pass.

Dembele has been drifting all over the pitch in the opening 35 minutes of this match. He's been out on the left, now he's out on the right, and he has even played through the middle.

It's difficult work out what Boateng offers his Barcelona team. Last season, Paulinho gave them some physicality, some drive through the middle, but Boateng doesn't even do that.

Malcom will surely want to see more of the ball in the latter hour of this match. The Brazilian winger has been in good form of late, but Barcelona haven't used him that much so far.
