That was a waste! En-Nesyri was in behind down the left side. He had Braithwaite in the middle, and I think he was trying to find him, but the cross from En-Nesyri was way too strong.

It feels like Barcelona are just starting to crank things up a bit. They are camped on the edge of the opposition box, moving the Leganes defence from side to side to try and open them up.

As already mentioned, Barcelona have Sevilla in the Copa del Rey next week. This is after they have played Copa games in each of the last two weeks. Busy time of year.

Dembele has been, by quite some distance, the best player on the pitch so far. He's out there breaking ankles! The French winger is in the mood to dribble this evening. Fun to watch.

Alena took it upon himself to burst through the Leganes midfield. Not many in the Barcelona team have been willing to do that in the opening 15 minutes of this match.

Leganes are staying very compact, which is allowing Roberto and Alba plenty of the ball. That's where the away side want Barcelona to play, though. It's all part of the game plan.

It's true that this has been quite a slow, subdued start to the match. Barcelona are in control, but their play has been slow. They need to up the pace and tempo of their play.

Dembele has become a key figure for Barcelona this season. Nobody really questions his future at the club anymore. The French winger gives Barca something different in the attacking third.

Chance for Barcelona! First real opportunity for either team. Dembele showed great pace to drive into the box, the goalkeeper came out, he tried to square for a teammate, but he couldn't find anyone.

Lovely skill from Dembele. He put it through the legs of one Leganes player, but Siovas steps out to make the tackle on the Barcelona winger. Spark of magic from the Frenchman.

It looks like quite a modest crowd at Camp Nou for this game this evening. It's a cold Catalan evening and so that might explain it. And also Messi is on the bench. Bummer.

Braithwaite will pose Barcelona a threat this evening. The Danish forward scored against Real Madrid during the week and has given Leganes a real focal point since signing this month.
