What a display by Barcelona that was at the Benito Villamarin. This could have been a tricky test for the Catalans, but they simply blew away Real Betis in the second half. Messi and Suarez did the damage, but the likes of Rakitic and Roberto were also impressive for the away side. The hosts had no answer.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Real Betis 0 Barcelona 5 (90 mins - Luis Suarez). Messi passes up the opportunity to bag a hat-trick, instead playing a pass out to Suarez, who makes no mistake in slamming a finish high into the net. That was an astonishing finish!

A final change for Real Betis with Camarasa coming on for the home side.

This has been a real statement win and performance from Barcelona. They took a while to truly warm to the task, but Real Betis have had no answer in this second half.

There are now a lot of empty seats in the Benito Villamarin. The home fans have had enough of this. They can't watch any more of their team getting a pasting from Barcelona.

HOW DID THAT STAY OUT? Deulofeu really should have added a fifth for Barcelona. Roberto headed the ball right across the face of goal, but the winger couldn't convert.

That's a peculiar change from Barcelona. By all accounts, Deulofeu is expected to leave the club in this transfer window. Napoli are thought to be interested. Could this be his final Barca game?

Deulofeu comes on for the final seven minutes or so.

Barcelona have been excellent in this second half, and they deserve credit for that, but Real Betis have shot themselves in the foot with some of their dismal, dismal defending.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Real Betis 0 Barcelona 4 (80 mins - Lionel Messi). Terrible defending from Real Betis. Feddal gives the ball away cheaply, giving Messi the chance to drive at two defenders. He jinks past them and then slides the finish into the back of the net.

Real Betis just haven't been able to hit out on the counter attack in the way they so often do. Barcelona deserve credit for that. They have managed to restrict them. Fair play.

Another change for the home side, who look shellshocked by this stage.

It should be noted just how good this Barcelona team is. They have yet to suffer a defeat in La Liga this season. They have recovered exceptionally well since losing Neymar in the summer.
