Well, well, well. Espanyol claim the win right at the very end, deep into stoppage time. Moreno was a danger throughout and he gets his reward. Real Madrid offered nothing in the final third. They certainly didn't deserve to win the match. Espanyol at least showed some ambition.

CURLED WIDE! That wasn't far away from a dramatic winner for the home side. Moreni tried to guide a curling shot in at the back post, but the effort flashes across goal and wide.

One of the worst things about Real Madrid's performance this evening has been the lack of urgency. At no point have they shown an intensity to find a winning goal here. Strange.

Of course, speculation continues to swirl around David De Gea. Real Madrid have ben interested in the Man Utd goalkeeper for years, but Navas has played well this evening.

Perhaps the only Real Madrid player who has does himself any justice this evening is Navas. That's important for him. He needs to play well to prevent Real from spending big to replace him.

Of the two teams, Espanyol actually look the more likely to score. Real Madrid have been so lethargic in attack. They have never looked likely to find the back of the net tonight.

That change suggests that Flores is going for this. Espanyol have just under 10 minutes to find a winner. They have nothing to be scared of. Real Madrid have been poor in attack.

MORENO HEADER! The Espanyol attacker managed to twist his body to get on the end of a cross into the penalty area, but Navas makes the diving save and holds on to the ball.

It will be difficult to pick a man of the match from this game. Nobody has really stood out for Real Madrid. For Espanyol, Garcia has probably been the one player who has caught the eye.

It is something of a mystery that Ceballos hasn't been given more of an opportunity for Real Madrid this season. He is a huge talent and they could certainly use him at this point.
