Atletico Madrid came out flying for the start of the second half, but as I say, Villarreal have used the injury stoppage to regain control. They have taken the sting out of the second half.

That injury time out for Asenjo has actually stemmed Atletico Madrid when they looked to have started the second half with renewed urgency. That might have worked to Villarreal's favour.

It looks like Asenjo is going to continue here fo Villarreal, but he is currently going through some checks. I think they are checking for concussion. Seems to be okay.

Now Asenjo is down on the turf receiving treatment for a knock sustained in making that save from Griezmann. Oblak has already been forced off for Atletico Madrid tonight.

ASENJO NEEDED TO MAKE A SAVE! Juanfran got down the right side and put a low cross into the six yard box for Griezmann, but the keeper came off his line to make the intervention.

I don't think that change was down to injury. Tiago doesn't look too happy on the bench, there was no limp, and so it would seem Simeone made a tactical switch after that goal.

BIG CHANCE FOR GRIEZMANN! That was a good response from Atletico Madrid. Griezmann was put in behind the Villarreal defence, but Asensio came off his line to make the save.
