Ronaldo has been sensational in recent weeks, but the contribution of Isco also needs to be recognised. The playmaker is now the man that makes Real Madrid tick.

Great play from Modric sees the Croatian make a pass to Isco just inside the penalty area, but the Real Madrid playmaker's shot is blocked by Wass and Sergio can gather the ball.

So as things stand, Real Madrid are just one point away from clinching the Spanish title. They face Malaga on the final day of the season and only need a draw from that match.

Just before the counter attack that resulted in Ronaldo's second goal, Guidetti was presented with a chance of his own. But he held on to the ball rather than taking the shot.

Ronaldo has now scored 13 goals in his last eight games. This hasn't been his most prolific season for Real Madrid, but he is making an impression at the most important time.

BIG BENZEMA CHANCE! A great pass from Kroos gets Benzema in between the two Celta Vigo centre halfs, but his shot is straight at Sergio. That was a wasted opportunity.

Kroos and Benzema try their best to find a way through the Celta Vigo defence, but the move eventually breaks down on the edge of the box. Benzema appears to have picked up a knock in the process.

The high pressing from Celta Vigo has been relentless in this first half. They are attempting to force Real Madrid into mistakes. Really impressive stamina from the home side.

Aspas sees yellow for protesting a decision from the referee not to give Celta a freekick for a Varane handball.

ANOTHER ASPAS SHOT! The former Liverpool striker is getting more and more involved, this time shifting the ball on to his left foot, but he struck his shot wide of the target.

This has been an impressive response from Celta Vigo since going behind. They are the better team at the moment, with Real Madrid struggling to contain them. Compelling contest.

SIDE NETTING! Varane couldn't stretch far enough to stop the shot from Aspas, but the chance was from a tight angle and the former Liverpool man could only hit the side netting.
