Espanyol had looked better on the ball in this second half, but they lost possession too easily in their own half in the build up to that goal. Barcelona made them pay for the mistake.

There isn't much tempo to this match and there is a real tension at the Camp Nou. There are a lot of Barcelona fans in the crowd with radios held to their ears. Nervous. Very nervous.

This could be a problem for Atletico Madrid at Levante. Torres has gone down with an injury and the stretcher is being readied for the former Chelsea and Liverpool number nine.

Barcelona have made quite a sloppy start to the second half. Their passing has been poor and Espanyol are taking the opportunity to get a foothold in the contest at the moment.

Espanyol just can't get out of their own half. They need half time to regroup before their current strategy isn't working. They need to find more of the ball in the final third. No impression there.

Suarez latches on to a ball in behind the Espanyol defence, but he runs out of space before the goalkeeper comes rushing off his line to smother the former Liverpool forward.

Barcelona have been in complete control of this match. Espanyol have been more concerned with kicking the opposition than kicking the ball. They're a very physical side, you could say.

It's just not happening for Neymar at the moment. He still gets on the ball as often as he usually does, but he has been accused recently of lacking a final product. It's a fair criticism.
