FULL TIME: Malaga 0 Barcelona 0
There is always one last chance, but who will it fall to? Barcelona are pressing the Malaga goal so I would suggest that it will fall to one of their players. There has to be one more chance.
Three minutes of stoppage time to be played.
Barcelona are cranking it up in the final few minutes of this game now. The tempo has been very high all the way through he contest, but the Catalans are increasing it once again.
Amrabat backs into a couple of Barcelona defenders as he tries to get a shot away at goal, but in the end his pass through to Recio is intercepted by Pique and the half chance is gone.
Of course, should this game end goalless Barcelona would still be at the top of the league table and would still have a clean sheet for the season so far, but they would lose their 100% start.
Malaga sub: Juanpi Anor OFF, Recio ON
So does this game have a winner in it? Both sides are pressing to find one, but so far Malaga are holding firm. All the way it is getting a little tetchy out there. Will we see a red card before we see a goal?
Weligton is lucky to still be on the pitch. The Malaga defender put his hand into the face of Messi, who went down to highlight the contact. Had the ref seen it that would have been a red rather than a yellow.
YELLOW CARDS: Gerard Pique (Barcelona) and Weligton (Malaga)
This game could swing either way, if it is to swing any way at all of course. Barcelona have a task to hold on to a point themselves. Malaga could still come away with the win here.
Unusually for Barcelona, they haven't moved the ball quick enough tonight. It has allowed Malaga to organise themselves well at the back. They also haven't taken enough risks in the final third.
Messi gets played the ball 35 yards out from goal, but he is lethargic is getting to it and one of the Malaga defenders steps out to make the tackle and spark a counter attack. Will the real Messi please stand up?
Malaga sub: Samu Castillejo OFF, Juanmi ON.
Kameni makes a good save to deny Pique after the Barcelona defender has directed a header from a corner kick towards goal, but the whistle has gone for a foul on Sanchez.
Alba comes steamin down the left wing and wins a corner kick. The full-back has been an attacking outlet for Barcelona all night. He might actually have been their best player.
Probably a wise decision from Enrique to withdraw Douglas after that booking. The Brazilian has been a little ropey on his debut for the club and has been a defensive liability all night.
Barcelona sub: Douglas OFF, Adriano Correja ON.
