Good result for Real Madrid to hit back with after a horrible week for their title hopes. That result puts them three points behind pace setters Atletico Madrid. Had they lost tonight that would have been curtains for them. But their title challenge is still alive!

Well this game has silence a few of the Clasico critics. Real Madrid needed this result, even if the performance has actually been patchy at times. Goals for Bale and Morata will boost morale in the team.
