Hi there and welcome to the LIVE commentary of Barcelona vs Sevilla. These two served up two goal-fests last season with the reigning La Liga champions winning both games. Let’s hope for more goals tonight.

Sevilla goalkeeper Beto has been busy in the first-half denying Neymar on a couple of occasions. However, the visitors have looked threatening at times without ever really threatening Victor Valdes in nets.

The referee blows his whistle for half-time here at the Nou Camp. Sevilla won't be too disheartened by this performance so far.

Pique shows his vision with a fantastic through ball to Tello and his shot is well saved by Beto.

Tello plays in Messi who finds himself in a wide position but Beto once again makes a decent save. Still 1-0 as we edge closer to half-time.

Barcelona win a free-kick almost at the corner flag as M'bia man handles Neymar. M'bia has already been booked and he's lucky to have got away with that.

The home fans continue to let their feelings known as they jeer the Sevilla players.

CHANCE for SEVILLA! What a let-off for Barca who are fuming as Vitolo played on after Pique fell to an unjury. However, Vitolo's ball is weak and Valdes rushes out to claim the pass.

That was Dani Alves' second goal of the season - and against his former club too! It will be interesting how Sevilla respond.

GOALLLLL! 1-0 BARCELONA. The full-backs team up as Adriano finds Dani Alves at the back post and he heads home.

Adriano clears with a header. The corner is taken by Rakitic but Barca again clear.

Messi's free-kick is poor and sails wide. At the other end, the referee has given a cheap free-kick as Adriano is adjudged to have fouled Jairo.

OLAY! Neymar leaves his marker Cala for dead on the left wing before M'bia crashes into the Brazilian and he receives the first booking of the game. Free-kick in a dangerous position which Messi will take....

Almost half-an-hour played. You have got to say Sevilla manager Unai Emery will be pleased with the start his team have made.

Barcelona have kept possession well so far as expected but they have been rather sloppy in the final third.

It was Cala with the block there and Sevilla's defence line has coped with Barca well so far.

Iniesta's fantastic pass picks out Neymar in the penalty box but his effort is well blocked.

The speed of Gameiro has perhaps forced Barcelona to play a little deeper. The forward has looked a real threat and will want to continue his good vein of form.

Valdes flaps at the ball but Barca clear. It hasn't been as comfortable as expected for the hosts.

Mascherano sliding tackle on Rakitic allows Sevilla another chance to get the ball in from a corner.

Beto palms away a Tello effort who caught the ball on the half-volley. The resulting corner is easily cleared.
