For the moment Barca have taken their foot off the gas, making Sociedad chase the ball in midfield as Martino's side do their 'tiki-taka' routine.

Sociedad are so deep that Barca are playing with a single-man backline. Mascherano is the only player sitting back for the home side, and he's not even a defender!

Iniesta attempts to chip through Adriano, but Bravo is alert to the danger and comes off his line to claim the ball.

Not sure I've seen a team cut through a backline like Barca have so far tonight. I get the sense Sociedad have given up already. With the home side in this form, I can't blame them.

In the build up that goal Messi missed what could be described as an open goal, striking the bar as he stood virtually on the goal-line. Incredible miss. Just as well Busquets spared his blushes.

Things are going from bad to worse for Sociedad, as they've now lost their captain to injury. The visitors are preparing a substitution.

Xabi Prieto is down on the turf and looks to be a bit of trouble. This is a concern for Sociedad.

Xavi's cross into the box is horribly sliced by Cadamuro, with Neymar firing the ball back into the bo. However Martinez gets there before Alexis to clear for a corner.

Everything's gone a bit flat on the field. The Camp Nou crowd is attempting to liven things up, but Barca are finding it too easy.

With that second goal Messi has scored seven league goals this season. This is only his fifth game.

Iniesta tries to slot through Neymar, but once again the Barca number 11 is flagged for offside. This one looks to be correct though.

Replays show that when Iniesta played that ball to Neymar, the Brazilian was actually onside by a good yard or two. Poor call by the linesman.

Barca have the ball in the net for a third time, but Neymar is flagged for offside, with Xavi putting the finishing touch on the move.

Despite a shaky start things appear a bit pedestrien for Barcelona now. Sociedad have a number of first team players missing and it doesn't look like they'll put up much of a challenge, thus far.

Neymar breaks the offside trap, bearing down on goal, but in trying to lob the ball over Bravo in the Sociedad goal he sees the ball stopped by the keeper. Should be 3-0, really.

Barcelona have scored with their first two attacks of the game. Sociedad must be feeling very sorry for themselves right now.

That's unfortunate on Sociedad who had started very brightly. Their lack of goals will be a concern now that they trail. They haven't won here since 1991.
