GOAL!! GETAFE SCORE!!! Lafita equalises in the dying seconds. Jaime Gavilan Martinez was allowed time and space down the left hand side and provided an inch-perfect cross, sending the ball onto the head of the unmarked Lafita, who heads home from six yards. Incredible scenes.

Great save from Pinto with ten minutes to play when it looked almost certain that getafe would score. The visitors make inroads down the left and when the ball is finally sent into the penalty area, Sarabia is unmarked six yards from goal. His side footed effort is on target, but the Barca keeper makes himself big and is able to hold onto the effort at the first time of asking. Gerard Pique, Carles Puyol and Neymar - all in the stands - breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Tremendous defensive play from Barcelona, who initially look to be under a bit of pressure inside their own penalty area. But, in typical fashion, they're reluctant to send the ball up field, instead opting to risk it all and play it amongst themselves. Bartra and Adriano produce quick feet and sharp passes to work their way out of danger.

CHANCE!! ALVES MUST SCORE!! The hosts attack in numbers and have a 3-on-2. Messi swings in a delightfull ball from the left, putting it on a plate for Alves at the far post, but the Brazilian's header is wayward and flashes wide.

GOAL!! Cesc Fabregas, who has been on the pitch less than a minute, is involved in the action instantly and helps his side retake the lead. The former Arsenal midfielder starts off a neat passing move, working it down the right before continuing his run into the penalty area. He receives the ball once again and pulls it back into the path of Alexis who smashes the ball past the helpless Julio Cesar from six yards. 2-1.

Cesc Fabregas is brought on to replace Javier Mascherano.

Tata Martino's men really aren't having it all their own way this afternoon. Getafe are playing with confidence and are causing the hosts some problems. With less than 30 minutes to go, Barca need to find a way of breaking down this stubborn Getafe defence.

Getafe crowd the Barca penalty area after winning a free-kick in a dangerous position on the right of the hosts' penalty area. It's a really disappointing set-piece, however, as Sabaria sends the ball high and wide.

CROSSBAR!! Dani Alves skips down the right once more, beating his man to send a devilish cross into the penalty area. The centre is a difficult one for Escudero to deal with, and he proceeds to head it onto the chest of Sanchez as the ball ricochets up into the air and onto the top of the crossbar.

Julio Cesar is called into action early in the second half, though he almost makes a mess of it. He's down quickly to his left to block Messi's wicked shot, but the keeper doesn't convince with the save, almost allowing it to spin back into the path of the Argentine. Fortunately for Getafe's No. 1, Alexis is on hand to clear.

The second half is now underway at Camp Nou.

The first half is brought to an end with Barca being held by the La Liga strugglers.

Alves is now shown a yellow card for a lunge on Lafita after allowing to ball to roll out of his control. Barca players appear to have lost their heads a little.

Just to confirm, Javier Mascherano was shown a yellow card for committing the foul in the build-up to Getafe's goal.

GOAL!!! GETAFE SCORE!!!! A poorly-executed free-kick just outside the Barca penalty area somehow finds its way to Lafita, who holds off the challenge of Adriano to volley superbly into the far left-hand corner from a tight angle. The linesman had waved for a free-kick in the build-up, but the referee overruled and the visitors are level.

Adriano's clumsy challenge on Pablo Sarabia on the edge of the penalty area gifts the visitors a chance to level from a promising position. There's a delay before Lafita can take the set-piece, with Sergio Busquets needing treatment, but the effort is wasted on the resumption of play as he skies his effort.

It should be 2-0. Adriano's perfectly-timed, perfectly-weighted ball splits the Getafe defence and sends Pedro through on goal. The Spaniard fakes a shot, cutting inside of Alexis, but then dwells on the ball which allows for Julio Cesar to make the save!

GOAL!! Barcelona score, and it's that man, Lionel Messi. Iniesta sends Alves bursting down the right wing. The Brazilian, under no pressure at all, knocks the ball out of his feet and then pulls the ball back to the penaly spot where Messi, unmarked, sidefoots the ball into the top left-hand corner. A wonderful finish.

A chance for Barca now, with Pedro the man to have a crack at goal. It's a lightning-quick counter attack and the Spaniard jinks his way inside, but his right-footed effort is blocked. Another corner.
