It's been all Atletico in the first ten minutes of this half and they should re-take the lead but Gabi fluffs his lines. Lovely build-up play carves open the Real defence but Gabi rushes his shot with only Diego Lopez to beat.

Atletico have targeted the Real full-backs this evening and have caused problems so far. They're just starting to apply some pressure now.

Filipe Luis creates a bit of space for himself before whipping in a dangerous cross for Raul Garcia but his header is saved by Lopez.

Real have started the second period as they ended the first and are looking comfortable in possession. However, when they get into the final third they seem to lack ideas and that killer edge.
