Chelsea v Tottenham live updates - latest League Cup semi-final score

It was a straightforward evening in the end for Romelu Lukaku and Co against Tottenham who produced one of their most disappointing performances of the Antonio Conte era.

Chelsea take a comfortable lead heading into the League Cup semi-final second leg after a 2-0 win over London rivals Tottenham at Stamford Bridge. A heavily deflected Kai Havertz strike and a Ben Davies own goal following a misguided header from Japhet Tanganga were enough for the hosts in a game which Spurs boss Antonio Conte will want to quickly forget on his return to Stamford Bridge.
