It's all over and Spurs progress to the final four of the League Cup. Stoke have made them work for it though, with Mourinho's side needing goals from Davies and Kane in the final 20 minutes to make it safe.

Spurs break in numbers and Son feeds Kane, but this time the combination doesn’t result in a goal as the shot is blocked on the edge of the box.

The game drifts into added time and Spurs are just three minutes away from securing a spot in the League Cup semi-finals.

Steven Fletcher gets his head onto a ball into the box, but he can’t quite get direction on his effort and the ball drifts wide. He probably should have done better with that and Stoke need to be taking those sort of chances if they have any hope of a dramatic late comeback.
82'
That was such a nice finish from Kane, who still had plenty to do when Sissoko played the ball into him on the edge of the box following that wayward ball out of the back by the Potters.

GOOOAAALLL!!! That’s surely the game in the bag for Spurs as Harry Kane rockets a shot into the roof of the net after Stoke give the ball away in a dangerous position. Clinical.

Son has the ball in the back of the net after lovely link-up with Kane and a delicate dinked finish over the keeper, but the flag is up. Replays suggest he was certainly onside and that should be game over.

Spurs seem to have taken control back of the game since the goal and look far more secure. Erik Lamela, who is returning after an injury lay-off, looks particularly lively, making a real nuisance of himself.

GOOOAAALLL!!! Spurs are back ahead and it’s come from an unexpected source. There didn’t seem to be much danger when a clearance fell to Ben Davies 25 yards out, but he set himself up well and struck a fizzer of a shot that skimmed off the surface before nestling right into the bottom corner. It’s a wonderful strike.

Kane is tripped on the edge of the box but tries to stay on his feet and get a shot away, only for the ball to dribble away from him. The referee waves play on and you have to feel he might have been better taking that foul (not to condone that sort of behaviour).

Mourinho has seen enough and makes a double change. On come Sissoko and a fit-again Lamela for Dele and Lucas.

This game has really opened up, with Stoke getting lots more of the ball as they gain in confidence, which in turn has given the visitors the space on the break that they crave. It feels very loose from Spurs though, and Mourinho doesn’t look happy down on the bench.
61'
Just a reminder that the League Cup has changed its rules for this season and there will be no extra-time in this game, meaning if it stays at 1-1 then we’ll go straight to penalties at full-time.
59'
Fletcher isn’t picked up in the Spurs box, but he’s a long way out and his header fails to really trouble Lloris.
56'
Dele is looking dangerous in this more advanced role and almost gets a shot on target after turning an aimless Winks punt into a threatening situation with a clever run. His effort on the turn is blocked but he’s looking increasingly like his old self.
54'
That's Thompson's first goal for Stoke and it could prove to be a vital one, with a spot in a cup semi-final at stake.

GOOOAAALLL!!! Stoke grab an equaliser out of absolutely nowhere, with Thompson ghosting onto a cross at the back post and slamming a shot through Lloris from close range. Thompson should never have been left in that much space, but it’s a good finish and a real shake-up for a game that Spurs looked to have under control.

It looks like Spurs have made a definite change to their shape, with Dele and Kane forming a front two, with the latter dropping off and Alli acting as the central point between Son and Lucas.
48'
Kane floats a gem of a ball over the top of the Stoke defence but Alli can’t quite make contact – admittedly it was a tricky one, coming over his shoulder and calling for a twisting aerial volley.
