LATE RAMON GOAL KEEPS TITLE RACE ALIVE
A goal in the fifth and final minute of added time, volleyed home by 20-year-old substitute Jacobo Ramon, kept Real Madrid in the title race, at least until tomorrow night.
If Barcelona beat Espanyol, they will be champions – or, indeed, if they manage two points from their remaining three games – but after a miserable weekend, Los Merengues will be glad of an ultimately uplifting evening.
Mallorca went ahead on 11 minutes, Martin Valjent curling low into the far corner from the right side of the box. And, though Madrid played with fluency thereafter, they found visiting keeper Leo Roman in fantastic form.
But on 68 minutes, Kylian Mbappe exploded between two defenders then finished superbly, and just as all looked lost, Ramon denied his club the ignominy of handing the title to their fiercest rivals.

DOES VAR WANT A LOOK?
Was Ramon leaning on the defender? Apparantly not!

GOAL! REAL MADRID 2-1 REAL MALLORCA (JACOBO RAMON)
Ahahahaha! The corner is cleared but humped back in, Vallejo flicks on, and Ramon leaps to cushion home a really smart finish! Madrid are still in the title race! Until tomorrow night at least!

MADRID WIN A CORNER, COURTOIS IS UP
It's headed clear at the near post.

SAMU BLOCKS A BELLINGHAM SHOT
He's played well tonight. And he's wearing half the whitewash.
DANI RODRIGUEZ MOVES FORWARD
He sticks one in behind for Domenech ... and his young fellow sub is after it, in front of the defenders ... but he never looks comfortable, slicing wide of the near post.

WE'LL HAVE FIVE ADDITIONAL MINUTES
Can Madrid keep the title race going until tomorrow?

VALVERDE AGAIN ON THE BALL ON THE EDGE
He takes aim, bends towards the far post ... and Roman flies across, clawing away! He's been brilliant tonight.

AGAIN, BELLINGHAM HAS PLAYED IN FLASHES
He's a player who, if used correctly, could dictate.

VALVERDE, GULER, FRAN GARCIA, A BRILLIANT LOW CROSS
And at the far post, Gonzalo Garcia can't slide home! Barca are nearly there!
86'
WOW!
The corner goes short, the ball goes in, Roan dives, too far off his line, palms it to Mbappe, who dips inside, rips a shot goalwards ... and Valjent, the Mallorca goalscorer, heads it away! Amaazing! Roman, though, is down for treatment.
85'
INSWINGER FROM GULER
And Bellingham flicks on ... but Costa heads away. Madrid come again, though, Guler sliding in behind for Bellingham, who strides on to it and, from a narrowish angle, looks to surprise the keeper with a shot; again, he saves. He's having a blinder.
84'
CHANGE FOR MALLORCA
It's Domenech for Darder.

MADRID HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS
But as I type, a ball into the box is cleared to Valverde, marching on to it, he drills across a shot from 22 yards ... but it's too close to Roman, who shovels behind.
82'
FRAN GARCIA BARGES PAST MAFFEO
Who hauls him back and is booked.
80'
LOOKING AT THE GOAL AGAIN
Mbappe doesn't actually hit the shot with laces but with the inside of his foot. He gets so much power with so little backlift.
77'
BARCELONA ARE NEARLY CHAMPIONS
Madrid aren't dominating as they did in the first half.
75'
A CORNER FROM THE LEFT
Zips across the face and the ref apprises a deflection, so now it's one from the right. They've had 18 now, all wasted.
