BARCELONA CLAIM REMARKABLE COMEBACK WIN OVER TITLE RIVALS ATLETICO MADRID
A 98th-minute stoppage time strike from Ferran Torres sealed a remarkable comeback by Barcelona to move Hansi Flick's side back to the top of La Liga.
Atletico Madrid came into the game at the Metropolitano with an undefeated league record on home turf and looked to be heading that way again as Julian Alvarez broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time.
Just seconds after Robert Lewandowski had fired over, the resulting goal-kick by Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak was headed into the path of Antoine Griezmann, who found Giuliano Simeone, with the 22-year-old selflessly laying it on a plate for Alvarez to slot home from the centre of goal.
Atletico had to wait until midway through the second half to double their advantage against their title rivals as Conor Gallagher found super sub Alexander Sorloth, who scored his 10th La Liga goal of the season.
A lapse in concentration would see Lewandowski pull a goal back for the visitors as he chested down Inigo Martinez's cross into the box and fired home just two minutes later.
Flick's side were quickly on level terms six minutes later as substitute Ferran Torres headed past Oblak in goal with 10 minutes to go.
Atletico nearly regained the lead as Sorloth looked for a second of the match, but as the game entered stoppage time, it was 17-year-old Lamine Yamal who scored his first league goal since October to complete the comeback for Barcelona as his effort from distance took a deflection to leave Oblak with no chance.
Remarkably, Barcelona would go on to make it 4-2 just moments later as Raphinha pounced on a loose ball to play in Torres, who fired home for his second of the game.
Next up, Barcelona return to cup action as they face Espanyol in the Copa Catalunya on Wednesday before hosting Girona in La Liga on Sunday.
As for Atletico, Diego Simeone’s men are next in action against Espanyol in La Liga before their reverse fixture in the Copa del Rey against Barcelona on Wednesday, April 2.

NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE SEES HANSI FLICK'S BARCA GO TOP OF LA LIGA
The title race in La Liga was ready for another twist with 20 minutes remaining as Alexander Sorloth doubled Atletico Madrid's advantage following Julian Alvarez's opener on the stroke of half-time.
But a moment of never say attitude propelled Barcelona to a stunning victory in an impossible manner, thanks to a glimmer of hope from star talisman Robert Lewandowski.
An equaliser would soon follow before stoppage time wrecked havoc on the hosts who stumbled to their first league home defeat since May.
A defeat which would have seen Barcelona miss out on valuable points in the title race now sees Hansi Flick's side remarkably at the top of the table, on level points with Real Madrid and four points ahead of Atletico Madrid in third.
Have Barcelona knocked Atletico out of the title race or is there still another twist to come?!

GOAL! ATLETICO MADRID 2-3 BARCELONA (YAMAL 90+2')
Oh my word!

SIX MINUTES ADDED TIME
There's still time to make something happen and Sorloth nearly grabs another. He's slipping but his looping shot is dipping but goes wide.

CHANGES FOR BOTH SIDES
It's the last roll of the dice perhaps for Diego Simeone and Hansi Flick.
Nahuel Molina, Jose Maria Gimenez and Rodrigo Riquelme replace Guiliano Simeone, Rodrigo De Paul and Antoine Griezmann for the hosts.
Whilst for Barcelona, Gerard Martin and Ronald Araujo come on for Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde.

A DRAW DOES NEITHER ANY FAVOURS
And both teams know it.
I have no idea how this game is going to go!
As it stands, Barcelona would move within a point of Real Madrid, whilst Atletico would move within two points - a reminder that Barcelona do have that game in hand on their title rivals.
80'
OFFSIDE!
It's Atletico's time now and Alexander Sorloth strides forward into the box and sees his low shot just wide of the post, but the flag goes up against the Atleti player.

GOAL! ATLETICO MADRID 2-2 BARCELONA (TORRES 78')
All square!
From two nil down, Barcelona are back level with Atletico.
Atletico Madrid switch off again as Kounde cuts back to find Raphinha, whose cross into the box meets Ferran Torres, who heads past Oblak.

ATLETICO SWITCHED OFF
It's a rarity for Atletico, who have the best defensive record in La Liga but they switched off and have given Barcelona a way back into this game.
And that's woken the visitors, as Yamal sees an effort in the box saved by Oblak.
73'
GOAL! ATLETICO MADRID 2-1 BARCELONA (LEWANDOWSKI 72')
Game on!
It's lovely by Robert Lewandowski who pull a goal back for Barcelona. The Barca forward beautifully controls the ball as chests down Inigo Martinez's cross and finds the back of he net from the centre of the box.
71'
GOAL! ATLETICO MADRID 2-0 BARCELONA (SORLOTH 70')
It's the super sub once again!
Alexander Sorloth has been incredible for Atletico from the bench and he's back on the scoresheet as Conor Gallagher breaks forward into the box and squares it to Sloth, who taps home.
Barcelona aren't happy about something in the lead up to the goal but the referee and VAR have given it.
67'
DOUBLE CHANGE FOR BARCA
And now it's Hansi Flick's time to make changes, with Dani Olmo and Marc Casado being replaced by Eric Garcia and Ferran Torres.
64'
YELLOW CARD FOR BALDE
Barcelona's Alejandro Balde is the next player booked for a tussle with Guiliano Simeone.
60'
TWO CHANGES FOR ATLETICO
Diego Simeone rings in the changes as Julian Alvarez and Samuel Lino both see their evenings come to an end, with Conor Gallagher and Alexander Sorloth entering the field.
59'
LEWANDOWSKI HEADS OVER
Lamine Yamal puts a great cross in for Lewandowski but he's only able to head over the bar.
