Lovely play from Kroos, who pulls the ball back to Valverde near the penalty spot. The midfielder doesn't have quite the same accuracy as he did earlier in the half, with a low shot deflected wide

After all those attacking substitutes, Real Sociedad are trying to find some kind of come back, but it's not coming at the moment. Carlo Ancelotti's side look comfortable

Here we go then; the cavalry has been called for. Barrenetxea, Mendez and Oyarzabal are off; Momo Cho, Umar Sadiq and Arsen Zakharayan come on
