Full-time: It's a well deserved win for Belgium, Romelu Lukaku's 38th-minute goal proving the difference between the sides. Check out our website for a full match report.
Great save! Courtois is finally forced into a meaningful save and he's at full stretch to keep out Brekalo's well-struck effort.
Two minutes to be added on here.
What a save! You would put your house on Lukaku scoring his second here as he attacks Vanaken's pin-point cross but Livakovic somehow makes the save from point-blank range and then reacts quickest to scramble the ball clear before Lukaku can poke home the rebound.
Chance! Tielemans releases Thorgan Hazard with a beautiful pass. Racing down the left, he should go it alone but instead tries to play it back to Lukaku only to find a Croatian defender.
Lukaku is ready and waiting to pounce for a second goal but Vida gets across to make a vital interception and cut out Doka's cross from the left on the stretch.
Hazard's first contribution sees him conceding possession. Croatia attack but Orsic selfishly goes for goal from distance, leaning back and striking the ball well over.
Belgium subs: Finally, Eden Hazard is on, replacing Dendoncker for the last nine minutes. Carrasco also makes way for Jeremy Doku.

Courtois makes the most routine of saves as Vlasic tries his luck from distance. Croatia are lacking a genuine out-and-out goalscorer and you fear they may struggle in the competition.
Possession stats: Belgium 50% - Croatia 50%.
Martinez said he would use all six of his substitutes tonight and so far he has introduced three of them. The large number of switches has already hugely disrupted this game, which had been a decent watch in parts.
Belgium sub: No sign of Eden yet but his brother Thorgan comes on for Chadli.

Croatia sub: Petkovic is replaced by Josip Brekalo.

Brozovic swings in another corner, but Courtois is off his line quickly to push the ball clear from danger. The Belgian goalkeeper hasn't had much to do tonight but he's looked sharp when called upon.
Belgium sub: Hans Vanaken comes on for Mertens.

Croatia have been more adventurous since the restart and they're getting plenty of bodies forward now. Brozovic forces a corner but Lukaku is back to fulfil his defensive duties, clearing at the near post with a powerful header. It's been quite a performance from the Inter forward.
Treble Croatia switch: Andrej Kramaric, Nikola Vlasic and Mario Pasalic come on for Rebic, Kovacic and Modric.

Surrounded by the opposition in his own half, Lukaku displays beautiful close control, pace and power to drive forward before spreading it wide to Carrasco, who delivers a poor cross.
Chance! Chadli does well to keep the ball in play on the left and he has time to look up and assess his options, delivering a beautiful cross into the middle. Lukaku looks odds on to score his second but his header is blocked by Gvardiol and Belgium have to settle for a corner.
