Standard Liege remained top in Belgium despite being reduced to 10 men early in their 2-2 draw at Germinal Beerschot on Sunday. Oguchi Onyewu was sent off after 21 minutes but Liege took the lead with a Sergio Conceicao strike on 34 minutes.

Germinal hit back with two quick goals before half time through Kris De Wree and Dickson Agyeman but Standard pulled level when Mario Cvitanovic scored an own-goal just after the break.
Anderlecht stayed second in the table with a dissapointing scoreless draw at home to Lierse on Sunday.
Champions Club Bruges, meanwhile, went down to their first league home defeat in over two years on Saturday, 1-0 against Lokeren. Runar Kristinsson grabbed the winner after 30 minutes.
Racing Genk gained their third victory on the bounce with a 3-1 home win against a nine-man Cercle Bruges.
Despite going behind after just one minute, Genk came back to win strongly.
Cercle Bruges, who remain second from bottom, had Djordje Svetlicic and Denis Viane both sent off for two bookings in the second half.
