Stepanovs is the first man to go into the book after a cynical trip on McGeady. Ireland's big men come forward...

Kruglov is underneath the ball as it is pinged into the Ireland box. Kelly lets him go as he belatedly tries to appeal for offside, and the winger hits the ball across the face of goal. Fortunately for Ireland there is not a blue shirt there to meet it. Real scare for Ireland.

Estonia look for the instant reply as Kruglov crosses for Ahjupera at the near post, but Dunne is across to block the striker's volley and the bal rolls tamely to Given. Great defending.

GOAL!! ESTONIA 0-1 IRELAND!! McGeady is given too much time to check back on to his right foot and bend his cross around Jaager. andrews rises quicker than his marker to send a header past Pareiko!!

Sean St Ledger calmly heads back to Given to give the Irish a moment to calm things down.

Kruglov is fed on the left wing and he plays it back into Vassiljev. The top scorer goes for goal from range and it takes a deflection off Keith Andrews and lands on the roof of the net! First real worry for either keeper.

Estonia have a free-kick in midfield and send plenty forward for it...

Aiden McGeady is hounded by two men as he makes tracks down the left flank. Looks like the Estonians are most wary of the danger the Spartak Moscow man.

Estonia are aiming to qualify for a major international tournament for the first time. Ireland last reached the European Championship Finals in 1988, but were eliminated in the first round.

Wolves wide man Stephen Ward sends in a cross, but it's poor and floats out for a goal kick. Ireland had slightly the better of the opening five minutes.

    Estonia kick-off and we're underway!
    19:44
The burly chaps singing the Estonian anthem are really milking their moment. Think they've gone through three verses! Anyway, they are done now, and we just await referee Viktor Kassai's whistle to get us underway.

We're just a few moments away from kick-off now, just waiting for the teams to walk out and belt out their respective national anthems. You can share your thoughts during the game either by posting in the comments box below or by getting in touch with me via Twitter @tony_mabert.

Tarmo Ruutli: "Sometimes when I look at the videos I dream that [Ireland] is my team, that I can lead them. I cannot say I was happy to draw them in the play-offs but we must be ready for them. In this game, I think if you ask simply what chances we have, our chances are 50-50 in this moment. We have tasted success already, so we know what it means. We are playing at home, and the chances are 50-50."
    19:35
Giovanni Trapattoni: "Our life is dangerous. I have a habit of looking down on dangerous situations. But I think I will live, if not here, then maybe there is another. I don't know where, but sure, I am not stopping here. In football every Sunday, or in England Saturday, you see little teams beat the great teams. That's football. For me, it is no surprise. But we must think these 180 minutes is our life, players, manager, the Irish people. I will be very proud if we achieve this result."

All signs seem to point to the Irish prevailing in this tie. They have played two previous games against Estonia, winning both 2-0. They are now unbeaten in nine games in all competitions, winning six of them. They shipped just seven goals in their 10 group matches, the joint-meanest of all the teams in the play-offs. Estonia conceded double that amount in their group and scored the same number of goals as Ireland, 15. So, this will be a piece of cake, right?
