PROBLEMS PILE ON FOR POSTECOGLOU AS FOREST LOSE TO MIDTJYLLAND
Nottingham Forest were beaten 3-2 at home to FC Midtjylland in their first European game back at the City Ground in 29 years.
Ange Postecoglou has now gone six games without a win as Forest manager. To compound this, he faced big backlash at full time with chants of him getting sacked and boos from the home crowd.
The Danish side opened the scoring through a free kick that was crossed in and a flick reached Ousmane Diao to turn it in at the backpost.
Forest equalised only a few minutes after with a quick break as Sels kicked it long to Gibbs-White who played a pass to Ndoye which he slotted into the bottom corner.
However, less than a minute after the celebrations, Forest went behind again as they were unable to deal with a corner, which allowed Midtjylland's captain Mads Bech to fire in from close range.
Late in the second half, Forest found the back of the net twice but both goals were ruled out for offside.
The visitors then scored a third very late on through a ruthless counter attack, which was finished off by substitute Valdemar Byskov who placed a nice finish past Sels.
Forest won a penalty in added time which Chris Wood converted, but Midtjylland held firm and secured the three points.
Postecoglou's side currently have just one point from their opening two Europa League games, and face a tough game next in the Premier League as they travel to Newcastle at the weekend.

WORRYING SIGNS FOR POSTECOGLOU
Lucy Ward on TNT Sports: "There’s just something not quite right at the moment and it’s just manifesting itself onto the pitch and that’s a poor result for Forest."
Martin O'Neill on TNT Sports punditry also said: "I’m not an apologist for a manager, but I do feel for him in a sense because he stepped into a situation here, he’s taken over from a very popular manager in Nuno. I don’t think the crowd were too happy about the way he lost his job for a start, and secondly, it’s just not happening for him.
"It’s just bad news. You consider it’s been 30 years since they’ve been in European football and the crowd were right behind the team to begin with and to be booed off at half-time and full-time, is not great news."

FULL TIME: NOTTINGHAM FOREST 2-3 MIDTJYLLAND
The visitors hold on for the win. Postecoglou's side are booed by some of the home fans as the referee blows his whistle.
After trailing 2-1 at half-time, Forest struggled to break down Midtjylland's defence and eventually the away side played a ruthless counter-attack to get a third goal in the final minutes of the game.
Forest won a penalty in added time which Chris Wood converted, but the game still ended in a disappointing defeat. They remain winless in the six games since Postecoglou took over.
