The UEFA Europa League is back and with a brand new format!
Manchester United will be one of the Premier League teams taking part in the new format, and they will be hoping to go one better than the 2020/21 season where they went all the way to the final before losing to Villarreal.
United did win this tournament in the 2016/17 season when they beat Ajax in the final.
Last season, they were knocked out in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, finishing bottom of a group containing Bayern Munich, FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
Under new manager Joseph Oosting, FC Twente finished third in the Eredivisie last season, ahead of both AZ Alkmaar and Ajax. They failed to make it through the Champions League qualifiers and are now in the Europa League.
Last season, they didn't make it past the Conference League qualifying stages.
