Harry Maguire was compared to Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal after he brilliantly created Manchester United's first goal in their surprise UEFA Europa League rout of Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night.
United claimed a dramatic 3-0 win in Bilbao, putting themselves on course for the final in the same city later this month.
And Maguire was an unlikely hero, as he twisted and turned on the right wing, before sending in a cross that was flicked on by Manuel Ugarte, with Casemiro heading United in front.
Bruno Fernandes scored two first-half goals after that, including one from the penalty spot.
Maguire was spoken of in the same attacking breath as Yamal - who was outstanding for Barcelona against Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday - by TNT Sports commentator Darren Fletcher.
"Not the most orthodox of right-wingers, but he's done well over there. In fact he's going to have another go, Why not beat him twice when you can? It's a great cross, it's a great chance, it's 1-0 to Manchester United," Fletcher said in commentary.

"And it's finished off quite brilliantly by Casemiro. But what about the twisting and turning from Harry Maguire?
"He's been watching Lamine Yamal last night. Things you never think you'll see in a European semi-final. Example number one."
Former United defender Rio Ferdinand, who was alongside Fletcher in the commentary box, couldn't contain his delight and admiration as Maguire produced his unlikely piece of skill.

"Wow. I tell you what, he'll have to go and renegotiate his contract as an attacking player the way he's going," Ferdinand said.
Robbie Savage recalled that it was a continuation of Maguire's heroics, after he headed a late winner to see off Lyon in last month's amazing quarter-final, second leg, at Old Trafford.
"Wow. Harry Maguire. The winner in the 5-4, playing as a centre-forward. There's a temporary right-winger. Look at the smile on his face."
Speaking after the match, Maguire himself told TNT Sport he enjoyed some "dribbling" leading up to the goal.
"It was nice to do a bit of dribbling out there and obviously put in a great cross." Maguire said.
"We had a lot of bodies in the box, they must have trusted me to get that cross in. It was a nice feeling. And Casser [Casemiro] put it in the net. It was a great header in the end."
Maguire was also told he had been nicknamed "Harrydinho" on social media.
"I'm sure there are a few nicknames for me out there," Maguire said.
