Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his 30th UEFA Europa League goal to equal Radamel Falcao's all-time record, but his strike could not help Marseille beat Shakhtar Donetsk. Angel Di Maria scored two penalties to snatch victory for Benfica, while Galatasaray and Sparta Prague both ended with 10 players as Mauro Icardi clinched the win at the death. AC Milan, Qarabag and Sporting Lisbon all won.

‘Moment of magic!’ - Aubameyang scores sixth Europa League this season

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang equalled Radamo Falcao as the UEFA Europa League’s all-time top goalscorer in Marseille’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk.
After the first half was delayed due to smoke from the fans, Aubameyang netted his 30th goal in the competition to give Marseille the lead on the hour mark.
The hosts could not hold on to their lead as Mykola Matviyenko equalised for the Ukraine side two minutes later, but Iliman Ndiaye looked to have snatched victory for Marseille in the dying minutes.
However, Shakhtar hit back instantly once more through Eguinaldo to earn a vital draw.
There was also drama in the match between Galatasaray and Sparta Prague, which included a late winner as both teams ended the match with 10 players.
Galatasaray took control in the first half through Kerem Demirbay’s strike, before Ladislav Krejci scored an own goal to level the match.

A minute later, Galatasaray suffered a double blow when Victor Nelsson was sent off for a foul as the last defender before Jan Kuchta levelled for the visitors, but Mauro Icardi stole victory for the hosts with a 91st-minute strike.
There was controversy in Sporting Lisbon’s 3-1 victory against Young Boys when Marcus Edwards won a penalty at the end of the first half.
With Sporting leading by a goal, David von Ballmoos conceded a penalty when he looked to have clipped Edwards’ feet, but replays showed Edwards had gone down without much contact.

Viktor Gyokeres stepped up to score from 12 yards to double the Portuguese side’s lead, as they went on to seal a crucial away win.
There was a strange goal in Qarabag FK’s 4-2 victory at Braga when Abdellah Zoubir - who netted a brace - initially had his first goal ruled out for offside from a free-kick.
Braga’s Victor Gomez was lying behind the defensive wall in an attempt to block any low effort from Yassine Benzia’s free-kick which was placed just outside the box, but instead ended up playing Zoubir onside, so the goal stood after a VAR check.

Over in Portugal, Angel Di Maria scored a 98th-minute winner to give Benfica the advantage over Toulouse heading into the second leg.
The former Real Madrid star struck from the spot to break the deadlock in the 68th minute, but Mikkel Desler equalised for the French outfit seven minutes later.
Christian Mawissa was given a second yellow card and was sent off deep into added time when he fouled Marcos Leonardo in the box. Benfica were awarded their second penalty of the game, which was once again dispatched by Di Maria for his second of the game.
The match between Lens and Feiburg ended goalless, while Romelu Lukaku was on target for AS Roma who were held to a 1-1 draw against Feyenoord.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored twice as AC Milan eased past Rennes 3-0 to put one foot in the round of 16.
The second leg ties of the Europa League knockout play-offs take place on Thursday, February 22.
