Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Manchester United's Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar from the Cars Jeans Stadion. United's season is yet to get going, with goals in short supply. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side stumbled past Astana in their Group L opener, but must show more guile to break down a resolute Dutch side this evening. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

FT: AZ 0-0 Manchester United. To say it was not the greatest game is an understatement, but in reality, a draw is a decent result for United, who defended well, even if they attack looked sterile once more. Four points from two games for United. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.
Just what United need - Lingard limps off with what looks like a muscle injury.
First yellow card of the game right at the death here with Dalot the unlucky man.
Three minutes of added time here.
Idrissi tries to cut onto his left before firing the cross over, but Gomes is back to make the tackle.
First change for AZ a Hatzidiakos replaces De Wit.
It has...
CLOSE! Great ball into Lingard from McTominay, but the England forward can only fire wide from a good position.
Third and final change for United as Mata makes way for Scott McTominay.
NO PENALTY! Rashford cuts back inside, Stijn Wuytens comes sliding in, sends Rashford tumbling in the penalty area, but again nothing is given. Looked like United had a case there.
Lovely cross from Stengs into the middle, bit Idrissi cannot get on the end of it.
Change for United with Greenwood replaced by Jesse Lingard.
WIDE! With the outside of his right foot, Idrissa drills for goal. De Gea is scrambling across, but the ball flashes wide.
Good spell from the home side. De Wit goes down in the box asking for a penalty, but the referee is having none of it. No VAR tonight, of course.
SAVE! De Wit has time to shoot, fires for goal, the ball moves around in the air, but De Gea gets two hands to it to beat the ball away.
AZ respond with a dominant spell of possession that pins United back and forces two desperate clearances from Rojo and Lindelof.
Greenwood picks out Gomes with a good ball, but the shot is woeful and always flying well over the top.
Pretty damning
Greenwood is now deployed through the middle. Rashford on the left.
Rashford comes on to replace James.
